Forrest Bunter, baritone

Forrest Bunter, baritone, based in Greensboro, NC recently completed a Master of Music degree with a concentration in Vocal Performance Pedagogy from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro where he studied with Dr. Robert Wells. With UNCG Opera Theater, Forrest portrayed Mr. Cox in Cox and Box, Gianni Schicchi in Gianni Schicchi, and Warden Frank in Die Fledermaus. In the music theater canon, Forrest has run the gambit playing Macheath in The Threepenny Opera, Mr. Feldzieg in The Drowsy Chaperone, and Sparky in Forever Plaid. In concert, he has been the baritone soloist for Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and Handel’s Messiah. Summer 2020, Forrest was a semifinalist for the NATS National Student Auditions. Internationally, Forrest studied at the 2017 Franco-American Vocal Academy in Angers, France, singing mélodie of Aboulker, Poulenc, and Duparc, and playing Lt. Robert in Offenbach’s La Fille du Tambour Major.
